Please join the students of ACA to pray for and honor those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 attack, to honor the response of the brave law enforcement, firefighters and rescue personnel who responded on that day to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and to the field in Pennsylvania. We invite members of our community who also willingly risk their lives to save others. We honor the military for their many sacrifices.

Aquinas hosting Prayer at the Pole in Kankakee
Aquinas Catholic Academy hosts the 7th annual Prayer at the Pole (Remembrance of 9/11) at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the flag pole at The Administration Building, 304 S. Indiana Ave., Kankakee.

Aquinas Catholic Academy to hold golf outing
The first Aquinas Catholic Academy Golf Outing will be held on Sept. 21 at Oak Springs Golf Club.
Registration and lunch is set for 11 a.m. Golf will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start and a scramble format will be used. Beverages will be available on the course. A steak dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Prizes will be offered, including a car for a hole-in-one on a particular hole and two trips to Las Vegas. Cost is $100 per person and both men and women are encouraged to participate.

Aquinas school open house, Kankakee
Aquinas Catholic Academy will have an open house from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Primary Grade Center at 378 S. Indiana Ave. The event is for current and prospective families. Families who have not already done so can use this opportunity to register a current or new student.
