Lancashire number 11 Mitchell McClenaghan hit the final ball of the match for four to secure a thrilling FLt20 tie with Leicestershire.

As the visitors chased 139-9, Gareth Cross top-scored with 28 from 23 deliveries before falling to the penultimate ball of the innings.

But McClenaghan found the Grace Road boundary to leave Lancashire 139-9, with Rob Taylor taking 4-23.

Leicestershire's Greg Smith had earlier scored 45 off 42 balls.

It was Lancashire's second tie in the FLt20 North Group - the first having come against Roses rivals Yorkshire on 5 July.
