Illinois State Police recovered $22,400 worth of heroin during a traffic stop on Interstate 57 Wednesday.
Rakeem S. Sallee, 23, of Urbana, and Tony L. Brock, 30, of Champaign, were arrested on drug charges after police found 4 ounces of heroin in their vehicle during a traffic stop, according to a police news release.
Sallee was stopped in Iroquois County for speeding at 2:15 p.m.
Police searched the vehicle after Brock showed signs of nervousness.
Both men were taken to Iroquois County Jail.
