Braidwood Historical to host car show

The Braidwood Area Historical Society is sponsoring a car show 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Main and Center streets to raise money for maintenance of the society's museum.

Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church in Braidwood will have the food concession.

Car show entry donations are $10, with dash plaques for the first 75 cars to be entered, trophies awarded and prizes every 20 minutes.

The event also will feature music, raffles and kids games.
