Stephanides out as Bradley's village attorney

Bradley village attorney Paul Stephanides announced he will leave the position effective immediately during Monday night's village board meeting.

Stephanides, of the Illinois law firm Robbins Schwartz, began working with the village in 2006. He said he is leaving his current firm to serve as Oak Park's village attorney.

"It's a good opportunity for me," Stephanides said.

Sue Glover, a Robbins Schwartz attorney, will replace Stephanides.

Bradley Mayor Bruce Adams said that while he is sad to see Stephanides — who he worked with as a mayor and as village trustee — leave, he's confident with the village's new legal counsel.

Glover is familiar with Bradley and has worked on contract negotiations for the village in the past, Adams said.
