A free event showcasing reading and technology will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Barnes and Noble, 1577 N. Illinois Route 50.
Get Creative is part of the "Get Reading" program and will show participants how to be more creative with their Nook electronic devices. Topics include writing, designing, photography, doodling, drawing, painting, scrapbooking and crafting through art applications, photo storage apps, and finding out how to share ideas and designs with others through social media and other websites.
